How Price Check Works

Path of Exile 2 copies the item beneath the cursor to the clipboard. Exiled Exchange 2 parses that text and opens a trade-search overlay. It does not guarantee the final value: you still select relevant filters and compare listings.

Start Exiled Exchange 2.
Run POE 2 in Windowed or Windowed Fullscreen mode.

Why Hotkeys Stop Working

Exclusive Fullscreen

The official requirements support Windowed Fullscreen and Windowed, not exclusive Fullscreen. Graphics utilities can restore Fullscreen after a driver update, so check again.

Permission Mismatch

The tool normally needs no administrator rights. If POE 2 runs as administrator, Windows may block a normally launched overlay. Run both at the same privilege level.

Shortcut Conflict

Keyboard managers, GPU overlays, recording software, clipboard tools, mouse utilities, and other POE companions can capture the same keys. Close tray programs one at a time to identify the conflict.

Clipboard Failure

The official troubleshooting documentation recommends checking logs. A ClipboardPoller warning that no item text was found points to clipboard capture rather than price filters.

Existing Instance

Closing the window can leave Exiled Exchange 2 in the tray. Quit it completely before starting another instance.

Overlay Disabled
