POE 2 Exiled Exchange 2: Accurate Setup and Price Check Guide

Exiled Exchange 2 is a community-developed overlay for Path of Exile 2 that helps players check item prices. It is a fork of Awakened PoE Trade and is maintained in the official Kvan7/Exiled-Exchange-2 repository.
This guide focuses on workflows supported by the real project: safe installation, launching the overlay, copying an item, selecting relevant modifiers, and interpreting trade search results. It does not claim that the tool automatically trades, predicts guaranteed prices, imports an entire stash, or detects market manipulation.
Independent guide: Exiled-exchange2.com is not the official Exiled Exchange 2 website. Download the application only from the official project page or official GitHub Releases.
The tool runs alongside Path of Exile 2 and displays an overlay when you invoke its price-check action on a copied item. The official repository showcases checks for gems, rare items, unique items, and currency.
A normal workflow is:
The result is a search aid, not a guaranteed appraisal. A listing price is what a seller asks; it does not prove that an item sold at that price.
The maintainer identifies only two official download locations:
Avoid installers from advertisements, file-sharing sites, copied repositories, or unofficial mirrors. A similar domain name is not proof of authenticity.
Windows may ask for confirmation because the application is a desktop overlay. Verify the repository and release source instead of disabling protection broadly. Our download page provides navigation help but should direct users to the official installer.
Make sure the selected environment matches the character you are playing. Results from another league can have very different supply and prices.
If results look wrong, confirm:
Use a shortcut that does not conflict with Windows, Path of Exile 2, another overlay, or graphics software. Defaults can change between versions, so rely on the settings shown by your installed release rather than an old screenshot.
Adjust the overlay so it does not cover important game UI. If it opens on the wrong monitor or outside the visible area, check Windows scaling and monitor arrangement, then restart the tool.
Open an inventory, stash, or supported item view and place the cursor over the item. The game must be able to copy its item text.
Press the configured shortcut. Exiled Exchange 2 reads the copied item information and prepares a trade comparison.
If nothing happens, test whether the game can copy the item text, check shortcut conflicts, and confirm the overlay is running.
Verify the detected item:
A parsing error produces an irrelevant search. Do not rely on the results until the detected information matches the item.
Checking every rare-item modifier exactly can return no results. Checking too few can compare the item with much weaker alternatives.
Start with the modifiers that drive demand for that slot. Then broaden or narrow the search:
There is no universal weighting formula. Modifier value depends on build, slot, league economy, available alternatives, and current demand.
Do not copy the first visible price. Review several close comparisons and consider:
The overlay creates the search; the player interprets the market.
Currency is generally easier to compare because units are interchangeable, but quantities and exchange direction still matter. Confirm the league and ratio before acting.
The item name may not be enough. Important rolls, quality, sockets, and corruption status can change value. Compare genuinely similar versions.
Rare-item pricing is subjective. Select the few modifiers that define practical use, inspect comparable combinations, and do not treat one outlier as the market price.
Gem level, quality, corruption, and special variants can materially affect price. Verify each relevant property before comparing results.
Different leagues have different economies. Correct the league and repeat the search.
Exact values across many modifiers can produce zero matches. Relax ranges or remove secondary modifiers one at a time.
Searching only by base type can mix ordinary and powerful items. Add the most important modifiers and properties.
Very cheap listings can be stale, accidental, or misleading. Review multiple results and listing ages. Exiled Exchange 2 does not certify a seller or listing as trustworthy.
Language settings, game updates, or new item data may affect parsing. Update the application and search the official issue tracker if a reproducible item consistently fails.
Users migrating Awakened PoE Trade settings should verify the saved windowTitle. The official README instructs migrated users to change it from Path of Exile to Path of Exile 2.
Check display scaling, monitor arrangement, and whether it was last positioned on a disconnected monitor. Restart after correcting the display settings.
Confirm network access, league, parsed item data, and trade-service availability. Broaden an overly specific query before assuming the application is broken.
Consult the official FAQ, search official GitHub issues, or review our FAQ.
The official repository documents a migration process that copies the apt-data folder from the Awakened PoE Trade application-data directory into the Exiled Exchange 2 directory, then updates the game window title.
Back up both folders first. Configuration formats can change, so follow the current official README rather than an old third-party copy.
Exiled Exchange 2 should not be described as:
It creates a faster path from an in-game item to relevant pricing information. The user still selects criteria and evaluates results.
For better consistency:
This approach is slower than copying the cheapest listing, but it produces a more defensible estimate.
No. It is a community-developed overlay and a fork of Awakened PoE Trade.
No. This is an independent guide site. Use Kvan7’s project page and GitHub repository for official downloads.
No. It assists with price checking and trade searches; it does not complete trades.
Rare items combine multiple rolls and properties, so exact comparisons may be scarce. Search important modifiers and evaluate several nearby results.
Search the official GitHub issues. If no report matches, provide version, system, league, language, reproduction steps, and screenshots.
Before relying on a price check:
Used this way, Exiled Exchange 2 is a practical POE 2 companion: it reduces the work needed to build a relevant search while leaving the final pricing decision with the player.

Reduce POE 2 stutters while using Exiled Exchange 2 by isolating overlays, display modes, GPU drivers, shortcuts, duplicate processes, and renderer conflicts.

Fix Exiled Exchange 2 minimizing Path of Exile 2, stealing focus, or hiding the game during price checks by correcting display and overlay settings.

Fix Exiled Exchange 2 displaying question marks, no values, missing stats, or empty price checks by verifying item text, filters, league data, and services.
